So, I haven't blogged in FOREVER! LOL I am still alive and will try to redo the blog and update more frequently. For now, here's a sneak peak at a kit I'm finishing up tomorrow/today (it's 1 am). It's gonna be part of a collection at SBB that will be called "Crisp and Clean". I will release the kits one at a time, then have a chat once they're all done and offer them together. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We didn't do that much. Took the kids swimming 2 times, took them to the park and then Dallas took them to see Superman at the drive in on Saturday night. It's only 5$ for adults and kids are free. I think that will be our new hangout this summer!

Charlie starts school on the 17th. He's yr round and we completely forgot! So, today I will be down at the school making sure I have everything ready for him to start 1st grade. How exciting. It's going to be weird with him gone all day. Kindergarten was only half day, so it wasn't that bad. I'm sure after the first wk I'll be glad he's gone all day :) LOL! It's hard when it's your first born. Maybe it will be easier with Savannah...

I know, it's been forever since I last updated this blog! Well, a lot of stuff has gone on since the last entry.

The most important thing... Ethan's Hope. This is a kit that was completed by SO many wonderful designers. There are also a lot of really awesome designers who donated advertisement and gift cards. Ethan is a LOVED little boy. By his wonderful mother and by the scrapping community. His mother is such an awesome woman! I have really enjoyed building a relationship with her. Her family deserves the best. Ethan is so appreciative of what we have offered, it's truly amazing. He is a testimant of what a lot of love, happiness and patience can do to a person. He is a great little boy. That is why we want to help give him Hope!

I know, I know. A lot of you are visual kind of girls. I'm just REALLY tired and trying to finsh up half the alpha for my new kit! LOL

Vacation- We're trying to get leave so we can go to San Diego for the Beach, Sea World and the Wild Animal Park. Then we're gonna drive up a ways to Disneyland!! The kids are gonna have SO much fun. We just did sea world, but they're dying to go again. I have to be honest and say I'm dreading it a little LOL! I wanted to do winter but Dallas is going overseas then, so now's our only time.
We're also saving up money so we can have a bigger down payment to get a new SUV before he leaves. We want to get the 07 Denali xl http://www.gmc.com/2007yukon/photos.jsp#pageWrapper
We want to at least put 1/5 of the car down to lower the payments.

I'm way too tired! I'm sure that's not all, but it will do for now. I can't believe I haven't updated this in so long.

I finally finished this kit I've been working on. It's called Funky Flowers. Now I need to take a picture that will go well with it. I also did a big frame collection. I won't post pics of that because there's TOO many. I had a lot of fun making those, but it took me forever.

I get my lights on monday. I'm so excited to try them out!

I ironed my white muslin and took some pics of the kids today. I'm not enjoying the heat, but the lighting it gives through my formal livingroom is great!

I had the kids stand behind me to get the baby's attention. He had a cow. He did not want them touching me LOL!! He is so attatched to me. I was a mean mommy and snapped a pic of him crying. There are more pictures that I liked, just too tired to go through them.

We went to the fair tonight. The kids had SO much fun! Dallas won something for all of them. My crazy daughter wanted to know why she couldn't ride things like the zipper..... She didn't believe my response. " Heart Attack!!"
I have a feeling I'm in BIG trouble when she gets older.

Sorry! I've been pretty busy with some photog stuff and finishing up a few kits. Man this stuff keeps me busy.

I got my new lens today! It's been so long since I got my cam for christmas and everyone has already gotten their 50mm. I had to wait, for a LONG time! haha
I tested it out today and I love that I have more room for exposure and an awesome DOF.
Here are a few snapshots with it. I only did a few of Marcus and Savannah. Charlie was busy watching TV. It's ok, though. I have some pictures of him in his T ball uniform! LOL

I made a big step today and purchased my lights (Alien Bees)! I can't wait for them to get here. They should come next wk. I will definitely have them before next weekend. I can't wait to see them. I really hope I can learn them quickly. I would love to get some great pics of the kids with them!
I'm SO excited! I got the pink LMAO!

I hope everyone is doing great! I finally finished that baby girl kit. I will have a preview done for it tomorrow.

Now I must get some sleep. I'm lacking BIG time. We've all had the stomach flu. You can image how much sleep I got with puking babies :( I'm better, the kids are better and now Dallas is sick. Thankfully it's just him and he wasn't sick with the other ones. I prefer one sick kid at a time ;)

My husband bought me a flower for my vase, so it can come out of "storage" and a fountain. The fountain is very relaxing! I just lay on the couch next to it and want to pass out. We just need to find a table for it. Marcus is a pita and it's so hard to keep him away from that thing. We're working on it, though.

Here are a couple pics. Ignore the shiny spots on my den wall, it's semi gloss paint on top of flat paint. We had a change of mind on what color we wanted in there. We think we're going with the same tan that's in our bedroom and the formal living.

I'm sorry and vanished! I've been so busy. We had the door stuff going on, then we had my daughters 4th birthday party and I've been working on 2 mega kits. I finally finished one. I wanted a baby kit that went well with most boy and girl outfits. Something you could use while you were pregnant and when you finally brought them home in their cute little carter outfits LOL! I completed the boy one and I'm still thinking about all the little things I want to put in the girl one. I'm just going to vector like 6 things and pick from there. Any suggestions??? LOL

What you see is the boy kit! haha it's called " A baby story" there's the boy edition and then there will be a girl one. The kit has 29 papers and over 60 elements in it. It took me a while.

Now I will show you a couple pics from savannah's birthday party.
She had a great time and now has so many summer outfits! LOL
Everything was princess this and princess that. Her cake, her plates, her napkins, her jumping castle....

Sorry they're so dark. I was playing with the strength of my flash and forgot how to make it normal, so the flash pictures always suck! I'll have to read my manual again LOL.

Easter kit

I thought about making eggs, but just didn't feel like it. I know, I'm a lazy cow haha.

Here it is. It's called First day of Spring.

I realized that one of the community parks right by my house is beautiful right now! Lots of lush green grass and bright flowers. I'm gonna try and take the kids over there for some pictures! I just bought Savannah a yellow shirt and there's huge yellow flowers on these bushes here. It's perfect! LOL

Then maybe I can drop the sat and scrap with this!

We finally got our new doors in!! I am in love with them. We do one more finish on the french doors and I can take that tape off the glass. I really, really want to see what it's going to look like once that's off. So much better than the sliding glass door and all of our "gold" knobs. Now onto fixing the backyard and my granite counter tops and new kitchen sink! LOL

Tada!! This is what I've been working hard on LOL! It's called "Chocolate Petals". Jo helped me pick out a name at 2am. Maybe tomorrow I will get this and my last kit (Colt) into some stores. I've been so busy trying to make these and doing household things. I'm still sick so that isn't helping!

This is going to be a very busy wk. We just had all our new doors installed. I'll post some pics tomorrow. I love them! I wish we were done staining the french doors in the family room because I want to take that stupid cover off the glass. I really want to see the "finished product"!!

I'm thinking Savannah's party will be on sunday. She wants a little mermaid theme. Not sure how we're gonna do that, but we'll work it out for the "princess". I took her to target earlier to pick out some toys. She only picked out 3 things, I'll take her again on friday. I bought her an outfit and want to buy her more this weekend. I love girls haha!

Oh yes.... That Watermelon Patch kit. The one I use for my blog. It isn't going to be sold this month. It will be sold next month. Something happened so you have to wait a little longer LOL! May will come quick though. Which reminds me... My first born is going to be 6 yrs old and I will have been married for 7 yrs!!!!!!!! I'm still in shock LOL

We're all sick here. I feel like.... you know what! I'm really hoping that I will wake up feeling better, but somehow I doubt that. I really need to though. I have a lot of cleaning to do. They're coming to replace all the doors in the house either tomorrow, or saturday. Which means savannah's birthday party will have to be next wk. I think she'll be a little upset, but hopefully she'll get over it.

I'm still not sure about the theme. I don't think she's made up her mind yet. She's such a stubborn little thing. I remember her 2nd birthday she was so happy to have a carebear birthday. Then her 3rd was at funtastiks and that was enough for her! Now she wants all these things. She is going to be 4 yrs old. Has it really been that long? She used to be my baby. Now it's marcus... :( Next thing you know she'll be starting school.

It's 4AM!!!!!!! I really need to get in bed. 7:30 is going to come quick. I think I need some sleeping pills LOL.

Our vacation was great, but short! I wish we could have spent more time there :(
It was nice to see Blanca again! The baby is adorable. I can't believe how much the kids have grown.

Sea World in San Antonio is MUCH different from the one in San Diego. I prefer the real one LMAO! It was nice though. Our whole family got in for free because we're military. They were doing salute the hero's or something like that. They even did a little speech during the shamu show. It was really sweet!

I can't wait till we take another vacation in the summer. We're going to California this time LOL!

I'll show you some pics. I was able to touch a dolphin, that was pretty neat. They didn't really want too much attention, just the fish! LOL It was only $4 for a tray of 4 fish. That actually isn't bad! I didn't feed them though, just took pictures. Didn't really want to touch fish haha.

In a way it was great that the shamu tank was covered, but for pics.... it kind of sucks! Not too much available light, but that's ok!

We also did the River walk. That was such a pretty place! The kids all had a great time. We ended up eating at the Hard Rock Cafe. They have some good burgers!!

Vacation!!

I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow night. We are going to Sea World in San Antonio, Texas. We went to the one in San Diego 2 yrs ago. The kids LOVED it! I'm also going to be spending this vacation with my best friend. I haven't seen her in 2 yrs. We met over 6 yrs ago when I had moved to NM with my new husband. He was in the military and we were both stationed there. Her husband and mine had the same job.

We all became close very quickly. None of us had family around, WE were family. I had my first baby and she had her 3rd. We were pregnant together and it was nice to have someone to share all those things with.

Last time I saw them was the christmas 2 yrs ago. They came down to visit for a wk. Since then we've both added babies to our family. It will be so nice to squeeze her and the kids. I think I'm gonna cry when I see her!! ROFL

When I get back from my vacation I'll put that freebie up for you!

The second freebie is a kit I got bored making. I don't even have proper file names on them. They're named things like kk, qq, mm hahaha! It's bright and has lots of flowers and gems. Took some pictures of a friends baby today! I decided to test the light after she left and saw it was much brigher around 4 pm. I took a couple pics of the kids. I'm still up and haven't gotten anything done! I'm working on this spring mega kit. I get bored easily and end up trashing kits because of it. This thing already has 24 papers. That's just dots, stripes and solids. I haven't even started on the patterns. I'm getting bored LMAO!

Here's a preview of a few things in that huge kit that's going up tomorrow. Of course I'll be back around lunch time to tell you how to get it lol!

All the shapes were made by Rebecca. She's amazing with vectors! The preview with the beads belongs to me ( the round and oval beads were also made by rebecca haha), the one with the round frog tag belongs to Lauren and the 2 paper preview belongs to Rebecca. I'm so glad she let me help her make this kit so big. Her vectors were adorable and I loved playing with them. I hope everyone likes this freebie. I can't wait till it goes out and I start seeing layouts with it!

like daughter! My favorite movie as a little girl was " Annie". I was passing through the channels and Savannah caught just enough to say " I want to watch that!" She's been sitting there for almost an hour now. She's so into it! I really didn't think her attention span was big enough for a movie like that. Boy was I wrong! It's quite cute actually. :) I think I'm going to put her in bed with me and watch the rest with her.

I was going to give you a sneak preview of a HUGE freebie that I did with my 2 friends. Lauren and Rebecca, their blogs are listed on the side of mine. It's adorable. It's inspired from the lilypad line that gymboree had yrs ago. It has like 50 papers I think. Most of them are patterned. I'll tell you more about that tomorrow.

Tomorrow should be fun... I am taking my friends, daughters pics. I have done her youngest 2 times. This time I'm shooting the 18 month old. I have one of those.... They're not always fun to take pictures of. Well, that is if you can even get a picture of them! We're doing a fri, sat and sun shoot. This little girl moves SO much. I'm really hoping I can get some good shots each time. Wish me luck haha!!

I was reading some comments this morning. When someone leaves a comment I go and look at their blog. I like to comment back and read a little bit about them. Well this morning I was reading a comment from Peta and went over to her blog. http://crazylittlepossum.blogspot.com/
She has an entry about this blog list turning into a competetive type of thing. Now, I co own a fairly big women's board and I know how easy women get carried away. They start trying to be the best, the most popular, have the most votes and so on. I think it's just part of having a hoo hoo. We're born that way, but some of us have more self control over those urges! lol

I joined this blog list so I could give out some freebies, make some new friends and because "all my friends were doing it!" lmao. Why do I feel like I'm stuffed in my body and I can't get out? ( no you're not getting pictures!) I would love to lose a good 15 lbs. That would be great! I would really, really, really love to lose 40 HA. Everyone says I would be too skinny, but they haven't seen me naked! Right now I really need to focus on starting an excersize routine. Yes, one more thing to add to my busy life. I already feel some of my "comfort activities" fading. I've quit smoking (which I REALLY needed to do because of my blood clotting disorder) and I'm starting to spend less time on the phone. I LOVE the phone. I can't spend time on message boards anymore and I miss ILP!! I lurk there still, but I can't post. It's a great place to learn some of the great things about photography. Some of those people are really amazing. You see SO much in their photos. Every minute I'm on this computer I am doing some sort of scrapbooking thing. I LOVE it, I'm just not used to "working" on the computer. I have all these ideas and no time! LOL

I'm trying to figure out what would be a great time to do some weight's and "stuff". Then I would love to fit a walk in everyday. We live in this beautiful community with walking trails. Do I use them, no? Do I pay a butt load of money every quarter for my hoa fees that paid for them, yeah! We have a bunch of parks. We even have cute little toddler parks. Now I do have a HUGE wooden swingset in my backyard that they play on, BUT they would love to see the park everyday. Don't get me wrong, they go, just not as much as I would like them to.
Since summer is already here in sunny Az, and the sun is out till 7 now, I should just walk in the evenings. I'll let you know how that goes ;)

What a day!

So I've been pretty busy all day long. I zipped some kits, made all the sizes I needed for my image uploads and then loaded them to the proper folders for their sites.
I managed to keep my house pretty darn clean today and fold about 8 loads of laundry and put them away. Which isn't all that great because they were ALL sitting on my dresser for a good wk. I do this everytime! I can do laundry allll day long, but when it comes to actually folding and putting it away? forget it! I'd rather scrub my toilet... Crap, I'd rather scrub YOUR toilets. I'm not too sure what it is about folding things, I just hate doing it! Sometimes I want to grab all the kids clothes and STUFF them into whatever drawers I can. Hey, they do it. No one ever sees their drawers, and if they did, I would just say the kids did it! Of course my kids would jump right up and say " We saw mommy shove all our clothes in there like that". Then I would have to say something like " Little fibbers. You know you did that looking for things" If they could fold better I'd put them to work!

I should be finishing up the freebie, but my eyes are crossing right now! I have all these ideas for kits in my head and I just can't keep my eyelids up.
I think I'm going to offer freebies on my blog. I want to offer freebies that you can't get anywhere else but HERE! We'll see how that goes. I'm still working out my time management skills. As I've said before, I'm not very good at that.

The worlds grossest dinner....

So, my 5 yr old thinks he's hilarious. I don't! Ok, sometimes he's pretty darn funny. He gets that from me ;)
I come from the corner of the family room and see him standing at the kitchen island. He's getting some spaghetti out of a bowl with a fork. I said " Are you hungry still buddy?" and he said " no, I'm making the grossest dinner ever". WHAT!?!?!? I look on the island and he has MY salad, MY LAST soda, spaghetti and chicken. Well, I opened up my handy little " What to do" book and turned to page 49... PULEEEEASE! I had no idea what to do. I was highly annoyed that he took the soda I was coming to drink and poured it into his little "dish". So, I looked at him and said " take a bite". I was serious, but I think he thought I was joking. He ended up taking a little bite and was NOT happy about it! I really wanted that soda LMFAO! Anyway, I was just trying to somehow make the point clear. We don't waste food. I did have to chuckle a little afterwards and so did he. Now I think it's hilarious! I'm sure he'll do it again...

So, why in the world am I working on 3 kits at once? Oh that's right, I'm an idiot. So, 3 kits and 3 kids... You can imagine what my house looks like right now! So tonight I get to clean! Yay for me. I actually finished up my bedroom and bathroom. I just need to vaccum in there. I might make the kids eat everything on the floor as punishment for messing up mommy's room.
Now I must go into my kitchen and start scrubbing. It's not wise to make dinner before you clean. No, I don't recommend it.
If someone has a magic "time managment" or "Get organized" pill, I'll pay you!

It's starting to get so hot here! I don't like it. It's only March, I'm scared for the real summer. I think we'll actually hit 12o this season. That's not a good thing for my big bottom. It likes food, but for some reason it doesn't like arizona heat. Lets hope I can lose this thing before it gets too hot!
I think Joedee asked for some ass the other day. I'll have to give her half.

Well I got bored making this kit, so, it's just going to be a paper pack with a lot of extras in it. I'm now working on 2 other kits and that big freebie. I really need to learn some time managing skills!!!!!! I loved these colors. Too bad I want nothing to do with adding anything right now.

I think every woman should have little boys in their life. What fun they are. My first born is Charlie. He's 5. We really have an awesome relationship. Not only am I his "favorite" person in the world, but he thinks I'm hysterical! I have really done such a great job with this little man. He is so well rounded. He melts my heart!

Then there's Marcus. He's my miracle baby. I went through hell and back, risked my life to have him. Worth every second. Our bond is very tight! That boy knows where his bread is buttered! LMAO He is spoiled beyond belief.

Here are some pictures I took of them today. Charlie was listening to my jokes and marcus had spaghetti for lunch!

So, here's my latest kit. It's one of my favorite ones. It will be available at Digital freebies in April. It will be sold through The Digital Freebies Club. After the month of April it will be available to everyone on DF and Elemental Scraps.

I wanted to do a layout to see how well the papers meshed. I was worried about the difference in patterns. They all go together nicely! Especially with the stitching.

I am finding myself more and more drawn to these types of kits and layouts. I am a stitching freak and you can expect a lot from me in upcoming kits.

So I took some more pictures of my daughter today. She's great to practice on. I am not fond of the "posed" looks children get lol. I like natural pictures. So, I pull out my camera and just have a little conversation with her. These are some of the faces I usually get. You can see SO much of her personality in her pictures. These are the pictures I will cherish forever.
